Osmanthus Oolong Tea - 2.5 oz

Originated in Guangdong, China, Osmanthus oolong tea has a light, bright, sweet flavor. It also has a fruity, floral aroma with hints of apple and apricot.

A fragrant osmanthus flower called Gui Hua (“gway hwah”) blossoms in the Phoenix Mountain area during tea season. This is the scent used for this tea.

The tea leaves are rolled sideways and pan-fired. The leaves are baked with fresh osmanthus blossoms sort of “heat-infusing” the tea with its fragrant essential oils. This is done in the final stages of processing.
